Brian is a graduate of the prestigous North Carolina School of the Arts (David Gordon Green, Danny McBride, Jody Hill, Peter Hedges, Mary-Louise Parker, Thomas Hulce, Terrence Mann, Chris Parnell, Jada Pinkett Smith) and moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to follow his dreams of a career in filmmaking. His first feature film as writer/director, KILLER VIEW, will be released theatrically in the Fall of 2009 by Fabrication Films/Grindstone Entertainment. KILLER VIEW is the first feature film to be shot exclusively on a disposable video camera.
In continuing with his training in long form improv, Brian is a disciple of Miles Stroth (Del Close’s “Warchief”, Armando, The Family, The Deconstruction, mud) and is frequently referred to as “Miles Jr.” which he does not deny and is only slightly better than his iO nickname of “Billy” which is too long of a story to go into detail here.
When not working with Dr. God on all things related to AWESOME, Brian can be seen performing at iOWest with mud, EXTRA STRENGTH, Hell Baby, Billyhawk, garguilO’connell, SWEATS!, Wikipedia Live!, Dark Alley and, of course, Tigerpants.
